The TVCDC's business development committee has been very active in the development of the Tobacco Valley Business Park. Over the last year the Tobacco Valley was able to complete the preliminary plat review from the County. They started the marketing plan and have actively pursued expansion/relocating businesses and new development. The TVCDC committee worked with the Lincoln County Commissioners to create a Tax Increment Finance Industrial District (TIFID). The Commissioners selected a five person board to oversee the newly developed TIFID; Mike Henry; Chair, Craig Dyk, Vice Chair, Buck Schermerhorn, Chris Fox, Dorothy Eiseman. The TVCDC will remain an active partner in the Business Park and continue the administration of the USDA Rural Business Enterprise Grant.
